Small restaurant tucked in the plaza, but the food is beyond deliciously amazing. One of my favorite hidden gems in the Tampa area. Freshly cooked every morning, generous servings, great service by the staff. I love stopping in for a … More

This is one of those GREAT hole in the wall Cuban places Tampa is famous for. Try it. Just the lunch plate or bowl will be way more than you can eat. The pork was AMAZING! The yuca had a great sauce with very flavorful red onions. … More

Always was happy with this cafe except now. Breakfast special is 80% fries and 20% eggs. I would call it egg, not eggs. Fries full of oil, sausage is overfried, dry as a shoe. Very unhappy, will never go there again. You guys should treat your customers better… Order type Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person USD 10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

My husband was waiting for cheese toast for over at least an hour and 6 "white people" were given their food before him even though they ordered after him. Meanwhile he had seen the lady drop the toast on the floor and she picked it up, … More

DO NOT EAT LUNCH AT THIS RESTAURANT!!! Unless you have major self control! Unfortunately, I do not and my lunch ended with me taking a nap! I basically feel into a Cuban food coma…apparently it IS a real thing. 😁😄 😆Everything looked and smelled amazing and the customer service was top notch also. The lady asked me if I wanted to try anything before I made a decision and she was very informative. If I had to say anything negative… they made the empanada too hot! They are made fresh to order and I HAD to take a bite before I left the parking lot! Sure, I did burn my mouth… but I don’t care and will do it again! 100% worth it! 🤪 $24 total and that included tip. I couldn’t wait to leave a review! I can not wait to introduce my family to this establishment. Pictured: yellow rice with half black and half garbanzo beans, plantains, stew chicken (Monday special)with vegetables and in the containers are marinated pork and the rest of my empanada. Order type Takeaway Meal type Lunch Price per person USD 10–20

Always the same-Great. The word "authentic" is not what they serve at LaCubanita. They serve actual, real, perfect Cuban food. Service is done with a smile and professional manner. Don't miss it. Wow! The food looks incredible but there is no flavor. I'm Puerto Rican and know how yellow rice, pork, and black beans should taste. There's literally no flavor at all. I even got a guava pastellilo and it's awful. For the prices their charging this is an outrage. The food is very fresh however you'll have to take it home and add your own seasonings. Price per person USD 20–30 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
